Office hours vary as we are open 9-8 Monday through Friday (shifts can be 9-5 or 12-8) and 10-2 every second Saturday. Locum will work with 1 other family physicians
Partial Coverage is acceptable
On-Call/After Hour Requirements
The locum may choose, but is not required, to cover shifts in the Emergency Room at Dawson Creek and District Hospital.
Wide blue skies and the rolling foothills of the Northern Rockies surround Dawson Creek. The city is also known as the Mile Zero City, as it marks the start of the Alaska Highway, a 2400 km long highway connecting Alaska and the Yukon to Western Canada and the United States.
Dawson Creek has a population of approximately 12,000 and serves as a major centre for 60,000 people from the surrounding area. There are eleven elementary schools, one middle school and one secondary school. The Northern Lights College provides adult education.
