DR. BETH JOFFE: JUL-AUG LOCUM NEED (URGENT)
Start Date July 03, 2019
End Date August 01, 2019
Dates Needed: July 3 - Aug 1 2019 (The month of August is also available should locum want a longer commitment.)
Looking for a total of 2 days ( 4 half days). Thursday afternoons are necessary but there is flexibility with office hours to fit other shifts in during the week.
A family physician practicing out of Hycroft Medical Building is looking for locum coverage. The clinic uses MedAccess and offers a 70/30 split with negotiable hourly minimum. It is a family practice without a walk-in component, and has 5 exam rooms shared between 2 docs in a shift. There is a parking lot underneath the building and meter and residential parking in the area. The current physician sees about 18-20 patients per half-day. The physician needing coverage works Monday and Wednesday mornings and a full day Thursdays. There is flexibility in our office if someone preferred different days/shifts and may be opportunity for more hours if desired. The family practices needing coverage is pretty much general, more slanted towards young/mid age female. The locum would be office based only without obstetrics or nursing homes, and sign out to PRS is provided for after hours.

South Granville's Shaughnessy neighbourhood is one of Vancouver’s toniest residential areas, with some of the city’s oldest mansions and largest lots. It was originally developed by the Canadian Pacific Railways as an area for the elite to live back in 1907, and many of the grand estates can still be glimpsed past tall hedges at the end of long driveways.
